Fish and Tea and Mercury

A recent study has shown that tea (green or black) may positively block the absorption of mercury in fish. Next time your eating some fish, pour yourself a cup of green tea to go along with it.

Not only could this combination of food prevent the harmful effects of mercury, but both fish and green tea have great health benefits as well.

Fish have essential omega-3 fatty acids, which are a part of the membrane of all cells of the body and reduce the risk of colon cancer, Alzheimer’s and heart disease, asthma, stroke and more. Green tea helps prevent arthritis, high cholesterol, cardiovascular disease and is is loaded with antioxidants that prevent cancer.
Both tea and fish are excellent for your health, but even better when eaten together. The benefits are just too numerous to mention. So sit back pour a cup and think about all the good things you're doing for yourself. Good Luck...
